Minneapolis, MN — Calabrio, Inc., a leading provider of workforce optimization and unified desktop software for IP-based contact centers, announced today that it has named Tom Goodmanson president and chief executive officer effective immediately. Goodmanson was promoted from chief financial officer to replace Paul Lidsky.
Lidsky will become president and chief executive officer at Datalink Corporation. As a current board member of Datalink, Lidsky was called upon to lead Datalink as it expands into new growth areas.
“Paul was instrumental in the creation of Calabrio following its spin-off from Spanlink in 2007, and Tom worked very closely with him on strategy and execution as part of that process,” said Michael Gorman, managing partner at Split Rock Partners and Calabrio board member. “Tom is ready to step in as leader of a strong management team as they continue to build the company.”
Lidsky will remain on the board of directors at Calabrio, contributing his deep knowledge and strong leadership in the telecom and software industries. Goodmanson also joins the Calabrio board.
Prior to joining Calabrio, Goodmanson held several senior leadership roles, most recently as chief finance and administrative officer of Gelco Information Network, a leading Software as a Service (SaaS) business, which was acquired by Concur Technologies in October 2007.
“I am excited about Calabrio’s position in the marketplace and I am looking forward to continuing to bring my vision, leadership and experience to the company in this new role,” said Goodmanson.
“We are very excited to have Tom move into the CEO role for Calabrio,” said Tom Erickson, general partner of BlueStream Ventures and Calabrio board member. His extensive knowledge of the software industry will serve the company well as it continues to grow as a visionary leader in customer interaction software.”
