Calabrio Selects AudioCodes SmartWORKS PLUS to Enable Contact Center and Enterprise Recording on More Platforms
Integration of SmartWORKS PLUS expands addressable market and simplifies PBX integrations for Calabrio ONE
Somerset, NJ – AudioCodes, a leading provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice Network products, today announced that SmartWORKS PLUS, a web-based Call Recording developer kit, was selected by Calabrio Inc. to expand the call recording capabilities in Calabrio ONE – a Workforce Optimization Suite. As a result, SmartWORKS PLUS will enable support for Calabrio ONE on a wide range of communication platforms, including Microsoft Lync, a range of legacy TDM switches, and others.

SmartWORKS PLUS is the next generation of software released from the AudioCodes Call Recording Business Line that allows any web developer to incorporate Call Recording into any application. Through the use of the SmartWORKS PLUS Rest API, any developer familiar with HTML code can incorporate advanced Call Recording functionality in a wide range of hosted and customer premise applications.

SmartWORKS PLUS is designed to support AudioCodes popular SmartWORKS Enabling Technology, a standard in the Call Recording industry for many years. Through layered services, SmartWORKS PLUS eliminates the need for low level C++ programming and proprietary APIs, instead exposes the same functionality at an HTML level through a RESTful API, common to most HTML developers. SmartWORKS PLUS provides integration with one telephony environment for immediate support of all communications platforms.
SmartWORKS PLUS supports up to 300 concurrent recordings in a single module and can be integrated on an Enterprise level to support multiple modules, thus offering significant growth. SmartWORKS PLUS supports IP and TDM integration, including most IP soft switches, proprietary TDM PBX systems and Network Integrations.
