C3 2018 Speaker Spotlight: Q&A with César Martínez, BanReservas

With only a few days remaining until Calabrio Customer Connect (C3), we’re highlighting some of our customer presenters on the Calabrio blog in a Speaker Spotlight series.

César Martínez, planning and strategy manager at BanReservas, will be sharing tried-and-true methods for getting everyone on board when implementing a new WFO tool or replacing an existing solution. C3 2018 takes place September 10-13 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Centre in Nashville, TN.

Name: César Martínez

Company: BanReservas

Title: Planning and Strategy Manager

Experience: 18 years in the financial industry, 15 years with BanReservas

Q: What are you most looking forward to for C3 2018 and why?

César: This is my second time attending C3, and just like last year I look forward to interacting with people from similar industries and learning best practises, success stories and experiences others have had with WFM and QM, as well as sharing my experiences with new Calabrio users.

I am also looking forward to hearing more about Advanced Reporting and what’s to come in future versions of the Calabrio suite.

Q: What are you passionate about?

César: I am passionate about data. I enjoy the opportunity to create sources of updated, accurate and useful information that will help us to exceed service expectations. I also am passionate about fostering engagement and loyalty at all levels, in addition to recognising successful employees and helping them to find the perfect work-life balance. This involves improving work processes, as well and streamlining and simplifying tasks.

Q: Why should people attend your session, Blazing a Trail without Starting a Fire: Best Practises for Preparing for Change? What will they learn?

César: There is a Spanish saying, “cada cabeza es un mundo,” that translates to English as “each mind is a world.” Implementing new software can be seen by many as an opportunity to learn new things, facilitate work or improve processes, but for others, it can mean quite the opposite. Working to get everyone on the same page is a better method than preparing yourself to face the setbacks that can come with change. Let us guide you through our experiences, what we faced and what to avoid.

Q: The theme of this year’s conference is Amplify the Connection. What’s one song you’d love to hear amplified at the C3 customer appreciation party?

César: “Just the Way You Are,” by Bruno Mars.
