C3 2018 Speaker Spotlight: Q&A with Caryn Yurkstas, Paychex

With Calabrio Customer Connect (C3) 2018 fast approaching, we’re highlighting some of our customer presenters on the Calabrio blog in a Speaker Spotlight series.

Caryn Yurkstas, senior workforce management analyst at Paychex, will be sharing how her organisation implemented a lab environment and how it has benefitted their contact centre. C3 2018 takes place September 10-13 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Centre in Nashville, TN.

Q: What are you most looking forward to for C3 2018 and why?

Caryn: I am looking forward to meeting other Calabrio users to see how other companies are using Calabrio in their environments. The user community is a wealth of knowledge. I am also looking forward to learning new things from the sessions as well as learning about new features that are on the horizon.

Q: What are you passionate about?

Caryn: I am passionate about partnering with our contact centres and being their go-to resource for WFM. I enjoy answering any questions they may have, training new managers/supervisors/agents on the importance of workforce and working with them to find solutions to any problems. Outside of work I am passionate about my family (including my spoiled kitty).

Q: Why should people attend your session, Testing the Waters: Why You Need a LabWhat will they learn?

Caryn: Until this year we never had a lab environment to test with. It has been such a wonderful tool for us. We tested out a newer version of Calabrio and had our business units also go through user acceptance testing. We have also used it to try new items out like workflows. It’s been very helpful because we didn’t need to touch anything in our live environment that could’ve caused issues. I would like others to walk away understanding how having a lab environment will benefit them too.

Q: The theme of this year’s conference is Amplify the Connection. What’s one song you’d love to hear amplified at the C3 customer appreciation party?

Caryn: I’m a big Def Leppard fan, so “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph” or “Let’s Get Rocked.”
